Blog as a whole

I thought that the idea of a blog was a good one because we could get the work from the blog and i think that it should be used later in school life. I have learnt that keeping a blog up to date is time consuming but overall it was easy. I have enjoyed keeping up the blog as it was easy and not very time consuming. I might keep up the the blog in the future as it is not that hard to keep up and you will always have a record of the things that i have done in the past. It is easier than making a reflection because all you have to do is write up about what you did and post up you work.

Subject Evaluation

During this subject called Mulitmedia i have enjoyed all of what i have done. I have learnt new skills that i can use in the future and new and useful websites such as prezi and google docs. The task i most enjoyed doing was the Photoshop tasks that we did during class which i thought was very fun.
Overall i have really enjoyed this unit and all the things that we have learnt in it.

Major Project Evaluation

For my project we had to make a theme park. We used:

Word: to do our research on what the prices for other theme parks were and what ours would be.
Prezi: we used Prezi to make a presentation to convince the investors on how successful our theme park will be: it included our prices, and what prices we had
Photoshop: We used Photoshop to make a  poster to advertise our theme park.
Devhub: Devhub was used in this project to create a website that would allow extra information about my theme park.

This project was quite easy but it took a long time to do all of this.

Reflections

In the past few weeks we have been using a presenting tool called Prezi. Prezi is a tool that people can use instead of powerpoint. I might use Prezi again in another subject because it is fun and innovative. I would reccomend it to other students because it is fun and easy to use. it was very easy to learn and everyone can learn how to use it as it is very self explanotary.

Google Docs
I enjoyed using Google Docs to collaborate with my freinds in the group task that we did and it was very easy to use. advantages and disadvantages are that it is easy to use and the isadvantage is that you can't put animations on it. i would use it again if i was doing a group task because everyone can access it. yes i would recommend it to other students. i would change the layout of the slides if i did it again and finish it on time.

What i thought of Prezi and Google Docs

i thought that Prezi was a good tool to use to make a presentation it is fun and intresting tool and you can save it on the site so you dont have to carry a USB around with you.

Google Docs was a good tool to use because if you do a group task you can all access it and you dont need to keep om sending it to eachother. It is very easy to use and it saves a lot of time.

Facebook: because you can communicate with friends and share posts and be up to date with whats going on with your friends,
Google: you can find out information about nearly everything in the world.
Youtube: you can watch videos that will keep you entertained for ages
ESPN: you can be up to date with all of the news in sport.

Image Types

There are different types of Image Types on the Computer here are the following:
JPEG is a short form for Joint Photographic Experts Group
GIF is a short form for Graphics Interchange Format
PNG means Portable Network Graphics
BITMAP means an image represented as a two dimensional array of brightness values for pixels
PSD is a file term for Adobe Photoshop

The difference between the 5 is that there is a difference between the quality of the pictures are different to each other.
Jpeg is best used for taking photos, Gif is also good for taking photos and publishing photos, Png is best best used for web, Bitmap is used for photos that move and Psd is the fil format for Adobe Photoshop

Yes sometimes the file size can be bigger like the Jpeg is smaller than Bitmap

I think that Multimedia is about things to do with electronic gadgets.
Multimedia comes in different forms such as; Computers, Consoles, TV's an d more.
Multimedia consists of Texts, Audio, Still Images, Animation, Video Footage and Interactivity

Hey everyone my names Vivek and i am 14 years old. My hobbies are palying Sports and Cooking. I had a goldfish but it died when i was young. One of my favoutrite holidays i've been to is probably Singapore. My Favourite subjects at school are Sport, I.T and a bit of Maths.
